Upon graduation in 2012, I started my career in the local Emergency Departments where I was exposed to many great experienced and really cut my teeth in the medical field.
After nearly a decade working in many different environments including Emergency Department, State and Federal prisons and home healthcare, I completed my Masters Of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner studies at Walden University of Minnesota. I returned to Tehachapi to serve our community as a Primary Care Provider for Omni Family Health where I developed my personal practice style and learned a great deal about providing primary care to a rural population with limited local resources. During my tenure at Omni Family Health, I noticed that we did not have any option for local immediate access to care except the Emergency Department which is best when reserved for truly emergent needs. That is when the dream of opening a walk-in clinic for Tehachapi was born.

I have always felt that the US Healthcare industry is too quick to push a mountain of medication onto anyone who walks into the door and is often unwilling to consider alternative treatments. I am happy to sit with my patients and discuss the risks, benefits and alternatives of using pharmaceuticals to treat any medical conditions as well as what other options may be available to reduce or eliminate the need for medication.
I take pride in teaching my patients how to take better care of themselves through diet, exercise and lifestyle modification. I especially enjoy helping my patients with high blood pressure and type 2 diabetes learn to manage their conditions with minimal medication.
I also offer Testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for men when appropriate. TRT can relieve or reverse many of the effects of aging in men, including weight gain, loss of muscle mass, decreased libido, fatigue, brain fog and depression.
